Q-Active was 2 years old in April, and to celebrate we put on some demonstrations of boxercise, Salsa dancing, belly dancing, plus a range of therapies in the staff restaurant on Tuesday. And on Wednesday we ventured outdoors to the old helipad for a Hulaerobics demo and some Nordic walking to get staff energised before going back to work. Active commuting facilities were also be unveiled with plenty of cycling freebies. Dr Bike came and fixed many poorly bikes so there are many safer cyclists actively commuting to and from QMC Campus now! You can see the photos in the photo gallery.
Q-Active also laid on free Q-Active classes for a week, as well as a new smoothie bar which was such a success with staff and visitors alike that we are hoping to persuade the Trust to let us keep it on a permanent basis. If you liked the smoothie bar, please let us know so that we can pass on your views.
