Massage Therapist

Ginny has worked at QMC within Children`s Services for 16 years as a children`s nurse and Complementary Therapist nurse specialist. She is currently running a Complementary therapy service for children and young people at QMC campus.

Nordic Walking Instructor

I am a Personal Trainer and International Nordic Walking Association Instructor. I`m particularly passionate about teaching the technique and communicating the benefits of Nordic Walking. This revolutionary fitness concept is one of Europe`s best kept secrets. I have taught hundreds of people to Nordic Walk and have been amazed by the positive feedback I`ve received. Nail and Beauty Therapist

I have worked in admin part time for QMC for 15 years. I have trained in manicure/pedicure advanced nails and nail art to nvq standard and also run my business mobile. I will be using the Creative Nail Design products - one of the most respected companies in the world of nails.

Christine Bennett

Holistic Therapist

I work part-time in the staff wellbeing room on a Wednesday and Thursday. I am qualified in Reflexology, Swedish body massage and Indian head massage.

Massage can help to relieve pain, tension and stiffness in muscles, joints and ligaments. It helps with relaxation and stress. Pilates and Fitness Instructor

Lynda is founder member of the Shape team and brings an enormous amount of experience to the classes.

Lynda`s classes are on Tuesday lunch time; Pilates @12.05pm and Bums, Lags and Tums @ 1.00pm. Both classes last 45 minutes.


Jenny Roskell

Holistic Massage Therapist

I am a qualified massage therapist specialising in On Site Therapy. I am working from the Q-Active Well Being Room on Tuesdays offering Seated Acupressure Massage. This is a 25-minute treatment given while you are seated in a specially designed massage chair. There is no undressing and I use no oils. It relieves tension in the back, shoulders, neck, scalp, arms and hands. The sequence rolls the muscles to reduce anxiety, works on pressure points to create balance and stimulates the blood supply to increase energy. I have worked at the City campus since leaving the coal industry in 1993. I have had a number of jobs within the trust, from porter to nursing auxiliary. At present I am the ward assistant on the surgical admissions unit. I have practiced tai chi for eleven years and been involved with teaching for the last two years. Rose has been with Shape Fitness for 20 years and teaches out at Bingham as well as being one of our Personal Trainers. Rose also provides cover for Q Active.


Tara Kopinski

Yoga Instructor

I have been teaching yoga now for 8 years and recently gained my teaching diploma through the British Wheel of Yoga under the tutelage of Liz Gray.

I am a mum to my daughter Eva who is 19 months old and I have a wonderful husband Karl.

Anita Wingate

Reiki Therapist

I`ve worked at qmc for 14 years in clerical roles for diagnostic imaging, casenote library and at present in the clinical coding office. Outside of work I`ve acquired levels one and two in reiki healing and last year did a course for animal reiki too.
