Marie Buda

Q-Active Student Coordinator

I am currently a final year undergraduate student at the University of Nottingham studying psychology. I share with David Stilwell the position of 'student volunteer coordinator', and it is my job to allocate volunteers with Q-active research and promotional campaigns, ranging from literature reviews and data entry to assisting at launch events.

I have been doing ballet and jazz dance since I was twelve, so I have always had an interest in ways of keeping the body healthy and well conditioned. In addition, I love to keep fit by engaging in various types of exercise ranging from jazzercise to pilates and boxercise. My two years of working with the Q-active project have provided me with fascinating insights into people's understanding and attitudes toward keeping healthy, and I am delighted to be part of such a novel, ground-breaking project.
