The Lenton Centre
A community owned gym and swimming pool in the heart of Lenton and close to QMC. We're run by the community for the community having bought the centre from the council in 2005 for just £10! Every penny we earn goes back into providing our services. We offer discounts to NHS staff and Q Active members - prices are as follows: Swim £2.40, Gym £3.00, Aquafit £2.60, Month Pass Swim £15, Monthly Pass Gym £15 or combined pass £18. Just bring ID to claim your discount.
In October we will be launching an exclusive swimming session for NHS staff and Q Active members on a Tuesday evening from 6pm until 6.45pm - just £2.40 a session. There will be instructors available to discuss technique. Our pool is ideal for people new to swimming or those who are not very confident in the water.

DW Sports Fitness
At DW sports fitness we provide award winning facilities including a swimming pool (20m long, 4ft deep), 2 Jacuzzi's, steam room. A huge air conditioned gym area with all the latest equipment integrated with music and TV stations is great for achieving those fitness goals. We also have 2 large studios for group exercise classes (timetable available on the website www.dwsports.com) the Reebok studio is designed for larger aerobic and conditioning classes and the KI studio is a tranquil room designed for Pilates, yoga and tai chi classes at the club. The gym team also hold regular workshops on the gym floor in 20min sessions including powerplate techniques, core & balance, fab abs and box fit! The changing facilities are second to none and include sunbed facilities, family/disabled change, hair dryers and hair straighters. The club also has a cafe bar serving hot drinks and snacks.

Members of the fitness club get a 10% discount at the retail store located upstairs which can provide all the latest exercise footwear, clothing and merchandise for the sporting individual. Check out the website! Members also receive a 20% voucher after completing the compulsory first six months of the membership contract.
Our motivational gym team will provide an orientation into the club which goes through all the club rules, etiquette and safety points of the club. This session is usually completed in a group so is good fun and gives you the chance to ask lots of questions. The orientation also includes an induction with the gym equipment so you can feel ready to start your fitness regime. After the orientation session the gym team will book you in for a one-2-one advice session where they can write a program for the gym. This can be reviewed on regular occasions to track your progress. We also have a fantastic personal training team that can extra provide nutritional advice and training sessions.
