Cycle2Work Scheme
The NUH Trust has joined together with Halfords for a government-backed 'Cycle2Work' scheme that offers money-saving deals for staff on the widest range of bicycles, by using salary conversion.
If you join the scheme using salary conversion (where an amount is stopped from your salary each month) then you will incur no tax and National Insurance on the benefit. This means you will save money compared to purchasing a bike outright. The bike must be used by you and its main use must be for commuting to work.

On completion of Halfords' online application, print out and sign two copies of a hire agreement. These two original agreements need to be sent to: Cycle2workscheme, Human Resources, City Hospital campus. The closing date for the scheme is 23 March 2007.
